Styling my Site

My Colour Choices

I decided to choose split complimentary colors for my website. I chose these colours because it helps make my photo stick out. The colours in my photo are mostly beige and natural tones, and my chosen colours are vivid, making my photo stand out. These colours help seperate my image from my background rather than everything looking the same, this offers a unique and eccentric look to my website making it different from what other people may have came up with.

I used a colour wheel to determine my colour choices and chose what I liked best. Using powerpoint I was able to extract the rgb value and hexidecimal code.

rgb(100, 72, 193) or #6448C1

I used this shade of purple as the background for my main backgrond and for my header.

rgb(255, 189, 56) or #FFBD38

I used this shade of yellow to colour the background of my header and for my main paragraphs colour. This is the only color that somewhat resembles my picture while also constrasting my other complimentary colours.

rgb(56, 174, 174) or #38AEAE

for my last color I used this shade of teal to color my frame my website. this helps it further stand out and helps give my website a more whimsical vibe

Typography

I chose this font because it makes my page stand out and gives a unique and retro look as it closely resembles similar fonts used in old video games.

Honestly, I chose this font at random but ended up really liking it, so I made it the main font in my website, which inspires a creative and eccentric output
