Colour Scheme:
I decided to go with an analogous color scheme for my website because the colors create a harmonious cohesive look that sets a natural tone. This color scheme makes a good guide as it fosters a sense of serenity and tranquility. Since these colors sit right next to each other on the color wheel, they blend effortlessly together, creating a calm and relaxing atmospere. Analogous colors enhance the experience of using this website by allowing the eye to flow smoothly across the website, reducing visual tension, while also providing enough variety to keep the layout of this wesite fun and engaging for all!
Colour Choices:
RGB(255,162,84)
I used this pastel orange for the tile of my wesite because it is a warm and soft color that evokes feelings of relaxation and optimism. This color provides a positive and friendly atmospere that is safe for all. I also chose this colour because it makes the lighter colours stand out more on the page.

i decided to use this colour for the title header because it is a lighter pastel colour that blends in nicely with vibrant title and light body text. this colour is suttle, and creates a good balance of contrast.

I used this for the backgroud of the body text on my homepage because it is a bright yellow that makes the text easy to read for all, while guiding readers through the key elements of this web page! It is also an energizing colour that can provke a sense of joy and happiness.
Font Choices:
Since i chose a monocromatic colour scheme, i chose to use "lato" sans-serif font for the body of my website because this font is light and calm, just like the tone of the colour scheme. This font emphasizes on its readability, perfesionalism as well as clarity. It also allows readers to easily read the texts and navigate their way through the website.
I used the Quicksand sans-serif font for the first and second header of my web page. I chose to use this font family for the headers because i wanted to make them pop out from the boby texts on the page, and draw the readers in. This font is rounded, clean and bold, which contributes to its friendly and approachable feel, which sets the tone for the whole website, which creates a safe and inclusive atmospere for the readers.
