Colour Choices
I decided to Analogous scheme for this design. I chose to do this colour scheme because these three colours are beside eachother on the colour wheel. Because they are "neighbors," they share similar base tones, which creates a very smooth, natural transition that is pleasing to the eye. Unlike high-contrast schemes, this choice makes the site feel matching and calm. It reflects a warm feeling, like a sunset, which makes my website look friendly and organized. It also helps the page look neat because the colours match like a family. This makes the website easy to read and very professional.
For the main colour of my page, I chose a warm coral tone. I used a colour picker to sample this from the middle of my analogous colour wheel to make sure it matched the others. The chosen colour is RGB (255, 139, 140) or #FF8B8C. I am using this main colour for all my headings and sub-headings on this site.

I used the following lighter shade of my main colour as the background colour for my main headings.

The only other colours I used on my website were black. All the text is in black.
I chose this font because it feels friendly and personal, which matches the "warm" feeling of my colour scheme. The bold header makes the important titles stand out clearly. The handwriting style of the body text makes the site feel more creative and welcoming rather than stiff or boring.
